MIRACLES NEVER CEASE!

THE WAR’S NOT OVER
The last two episodes explored how we can know when Evil is after us. A number of friends responding wanted to know more about detecting an attack of Evil. So, let’s look again. You need to realize that the struggle with evil never ceases and YOU are still in their gunsight!
(By the way, when I capitalize Evil, I’m talking about the various names that the Bible used for the devil, Satan, Lucifer, Beelzebub, Belial, Asmodeus, Azazel, Abaddon, and so forth. When evil is low case, I’m describing the destructive actions of the demonic.)
Here’s another way that the war is on. Ever feel disconnected from a sense of peace? It’s possible to discover that there’s nothing inside you seems to be right. You’re not upset, but you feel unsettled, restless, disconnected from well-being. Often, people who end up addicted to drugs start searching for a “high” to make them feel okay again. You wouldn’t think of the loss of ease as part of a warfare, but that’s one way our Enemy begins to work. Something is wrong, out of place, and we’re uneasy and look for relief.
Jack and Maria were a happily married young couple but had a problem. Maria couldn’t conceive. The problem left them with a sense that something was out of place. They had plenty of money, a nice house, and were satisfied with their physical situations, but… but…they lacked a sense of peace. A friend suggested that they see a woman named Madam Gisell Sabrina… or whatever her real name was. Madam Gisell was big on crystal balls, cosmic astrology, herbs, and giving Maria ideas she’d never thought of. Maria was enthusiastic and dug in.
A new problem developed when Jack noticed Maria was becoming erratic and had weird ideas popping up in her head. The lack of peace turned into bizarre behavior, turning their world upside down. It took a number of prayer and deliverance sessions with the pastor and a prayer team before she was freed. They were victims of demonic warfare.
If you start to feel like a sense of peace is sliding away, pause and remember where real peace comes from. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
There’s your answer to the warfare. If you feel a sense of well-being slipping away, the answer is that you need to renew your relationship with the Author of All Peace. In contrast to the world, no circumstance will diminish what He gives. That’s how you win the war.
Remember miracles never cease.
