MIRACLES NEVER CEASE!

AND THEN THE ANGEL APPEARED…
Last week, I noted that I run into more angel encounters than any other type of miracle story. Angels certainly are evidence of the supernatural dimension that exists just beyond our touch but is always there. You will be amazed if you start to believe they are here and around you all the time… and extremely interested in your needs!
Here’s an example.
In October 1991, Robin Naylor gave birth to a child. The doctors discovered a serious chromosomal defect and the baby was immediately raced to another hospital better equipped to deal with such an issue. Robin and her husband were devastated and struggled to know how to deal with the situation. Their world had been turned upside down.
After thinking, praying, struggling, Robin’s husband confessed he was exhausted and needed to go home for much needed sleep. She was left alone to think and worry about what might lay ahead. Desolation set in and Robin was certain no one had ever experienced her trauma.
Enter a nurse named Jan.
Cheerful and efficient, Jan appeared to be the nurse assigned to assist Robin. She seemed to know a great deal about the baby’s problem. “I had to care for a baby with a similar defect,” Nurse Jan related. “I know what you are going through. You’ll find it difficult to leave the hospital and not take the baby with you. Please know that you can talk with me anytime.”
Robin was surprised how much their conversations helped. The nurse offered important insights and Robin drew strength from their talks. Finally, the baby was transferred back to the original hospital and Robin was released to go home alone. Later Robin wanted to come back and find Nurse Jan to thank her for how significantly she had helped. The nurse had really carried her through. Robin inquired at the nurse’s station where she could find Nurse Jan.
“I’m sorry,” the head nurse replied. “We don’t have anyone here by that name. Never have had.”
“But you must,” Robin protested. “She was so important to me.”
“I’m sorry,” the nurse repeated. No one named Jan ever worked here.”
Robin insisted on seeing her medical chart. There on the chart for that day were the initials ‘J.S.’, although the hospital never employed anyone with those initials.
What occurred? Robin realized that Jan had been an angel sent to bring encouragement at the lowest time in her life. I have to tell you that such happens all the time. Seems like angels can put on human suits when they need to do their physical work among us. Could one be standing around you just waiting to help? Certainly! Keep your spiritual eyes open.
Remember miracles never cease.
